Three of the five candidates participated in the event, including David Guerin. The moderator for this event was Marjorie Knight, the Chair/Founder of Rhythm & Blues.

WHY I'M RUNNING
Ward 7 is growing quickly, and Cambridge faces important choices about services, infrastructure and spending. I'm running because I believe City Hall should focus on what residents count on every day, plan responsibly for growth and make sure taxpayers receive real value for their money. I've spent my career turning plans into action, whether in business, community organizations, or elected public service. I want to bring that practical experience to City Council.​

The delayed McQueen Shaver Boulevard extension means more trucks, noise and traffic pressure as southeast Cambridge grows. It shows why development, infrastructure and neighbourhood safety must be planned together.
