- I have proudly called Cambridge home since 1999. My wife Anna and I raised our children, Noah and Kathryn, here and have been proud to build our lives in this community.
- My career has included business ownership, community leadership and public service. Today, I serve as Operations Manager at Wesley United Church and as an elected Trustee for the Waterloo Catholic District School Board.
- Throughout my life, I have tried to step forward when help is needed, bring people together and find practical solutions. That is the practical, experienced approach I will bring to Cambridge City Council.

I understand the challenges and rewards of building and running a business.
- Co-founded Clear Path Employer Services with Anna in 2003
- Grew the company from a one-person operation to a team of 20 serving clients across Ontario
- Managed customers, employees, budgets, payroll, risk and changing markets
- Successfully sold the business to a competitor in 2017

As a school board trustee, I have helped oversee an organization with an annual budget of approximately $440 million, major capital projects and services affecting thousands of students, families and employees.

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP
I have had the privilege of serving Cambridge in many different ways:
- Helped support the launch of the overnight warming centre at Wesley United Church in partnership with the Region of Waterloo and Porchlight Counselling & Addiction Services
- Chair of the Fiddlesticks Community Centre Board of Directors and recipient of its Volunteer of the Year award
- Cancer survivor who has participated in the Terry Fox Run more than 40 times
- Volunteer with House of Friendship, Ray of Hope, Cambridge Food Bank, and Cambridge Girls' Choir
- Team manager and volunteer with Cambridge Minor Hockey Association and Cambridge Minor Soccer Association
These experiences shaped the three priorities that I'm bringing to City Council: getting the basics right, growing the right way, and delivering value for tax dollars.

why public service?
I have spent much of my life building a business, volunteering, serving on boards and helping community organizations succeed. Public service is a natural extension of that work. I enjoy solving problems, bringing people together and finding practical ways to make communities work better.
