Over the past several months, I’ve spent a lot of time knocking on doors across Ward 7.
It has been one of the best parts of this campaign.

Most conversations are not long. People are busy. They are getting dinner ready, heading out, looking after kids, walking the dog or just trying to enjoy the end of the day.

But when I ask what they like about their neighbourhood, what frustrates them, or what they would like City Hall to pay more attention to, people are usually very willing to share.

And after hundreds of conversations, some clear themes keep coming up.

Thank you to everyone who came out in person and all those who bought a ticket in support of our Trivia & Pizza Night Fundraiser on September 16th at Boston Pizza in Cambridge. It was a huge success! We had a lot of fun and raised some funds for the campaign. Thank you to Stephanie Soulis of Little Mushroom Catering who served as our Trivia Maven, to the hard-working team at Boston Pizza, and to Noah Guerin who created most of the brain-stretching questions for us.

Three of the five candidates participated in the event, including David Guerin. The moderator for this event was Marjorie Knight, the Chair/Founder of Rhythm & Blues.

We're well into Election Season and we can feel the momentum building. Thank you so much to all the volunteers who are helping make this happen.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for today’s Campaign Kick-Off BBQ for my run for Cambridge City Councillor, Ward 7. The weather behaved and I got to meet so many members of the community. It was a fantastic day. So many of our guests agreed to take lawn signs, which is such a great way to get the word out! I’m so incredibly grateful for all the volunteers who helped make the day a success. Next up is our Pizza & Trivia Night Fundraiser on September 16th.

Exciting news! The Cambridge Elects organization, along with the support of its media and community partners, is organizing a series of Town Halls for each ward as well as the mayor and regional councillor races. All Town Halls are free, open to the public, and will be streamed live and available afterward as recordings.

Cambridge Elects is a community-based, completely neutral and non-partisan initiative created to help residents become better informed before they vote and to encourage stronger voter participation.

The Town Hall for Ward 7 is set for Wednesday, September 9th at Forward Church (55 Franklin Blvd.) beginning at 7:00 PM. The moderator for this event will be Marjorie Knight, the Chair/Founder of Rhythm & Blues.

After much reflection and many conversations with family, friends, and community members, I've decided to put my name forward for Cambridge City Council in Ward 7.

​Ward 7 is an incredible place to live, and I believe thoughtful leadership can help us navigate growth while preserving the strong sense of community that makes this area special.

​Over the coming months, I look forward to listening, learning, and earning your trust.
